Into the over-the-top spectacle that is Times Square in New York City, British artist Martin Creed has inserted his own millennial statement. High above the sidewalk on famous 42nd Street looms his soothing, and misspelled, message: "EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE ALRIGHT."

If the glaring red neon of the letters seems to contradict the calm confidence of the statement itself, that's all the more reason this project, sponsored by the Public Art Fund, has found the perfect home.
