®TMark is known for its internet activism, but still it came as a surprise to many that they put their tickets to the exclusive Biennial opening night party up for auction to the highest bidders on eBay!

In essence, ®TMark was offering anyone with the cash the opportunity to be a Biennial artist for the evening, since the party was intended only for Biennial artists, curators and important patrons.

Someone must have really wanted to go-- all four of the tickets sold to a single bidder for between $1,900 and $2,600 each!
