Where will you be at the 59th minute of the hour? If you happen to find yourself meandering through Manhattan’s Times Square, look up at the NBC Astrovision and catch a short piece by one of today’s most innovative video artists. The unusual entertainment is courtesy of Creative Time, together with Panasonic, who collaborated to bring the art to the masses.
Some of the pieces you may see are Swiss artist team Fischli and Weiss’ monumentalization of an average housecat, Marco Bramba’s manipulation of time and space in a heart-racing free-fall and William Kentridge’s unique political satires made from charcoal animation drawings.
