The gallery at the Illinois State University is currently home to 2000 Clowns, an exhibition which includes artwork featuring clowns made by contemporary artists such as Bruce Nauman, Donald Baechler and Thomas Woodruff.
2000 Clowns includes a wide spectrum of the phenomenon: Michael Lindell has contributed a wall of multicolored shiny shapes which resemble clown noses, David MgGee creates a self-portrait of himself as a clown, and Linda Voychehovski exhibits a photograph of one of America's most famous clowns, Ronald McDonald.
