Ultraviolet Light: Ultraviolet light, or UV light, as it is commonly referred to, is a dangerous hazard for artworks on paper.

UV light can be found in natural sunlight or fluorescent lighting, and will eventually dull or fade any artwork image consistently exposed to it.

Be sure to use glass or Plexiglas from your framer that is specifically treated to filter out UV light in order to insure a long life for your works on paper.
