Polly Griscom
Polly Griscom paints larger-than-life floral and plant life watercolors, employing many transparent washes seeking to achieve contrast and balance in the composition. The up close images and cropping of the flowers and plant leaves give the realist paintings an abstract feel. Griscom earned a bachelors of arts from Brown University and Rhode Island School of Design; she has exhibited her work in California and throughout New England.

Mark LaRiviere Mark LaRiviere paints forms in the abstract that resemble human figures and other "land-based" objects, such as plants and rocks. LaRiviere cites as his influences impressionist and medieval Siennese painters who would often represent "sky" in gold, rather than blue tones. The artist earned a bachelors of arts from Parsons School of Design and a masters of fine arts from Swain School of Design.
