Introducing this week's PaintingsDIRECT.com artists.
  Gayle Rovnick
Gayle Rovnick's detailed watercolor still lifes reflect the artist's careful observation and appreciation for color and light. Colorful tulips, clear glass vases, strawberries and kiwis catch Rovnick's curious eye. "Recently I have concentrated on still life, juxtaposing beautiful living things with well-designed man-made objects." Rovnick studied at the American Academy of Art and has received numerous awards for her skill in watercolor.

  Judy Zeichner
Judy Zeichner's realistic works on canvas showcase her experienced eye and hand. Each nude, floral still life and beach landscape is a well-thought-out balance of color and space. Paintings of the island of St. John and Provincetown add to the artist's rich body of work. Zeichner's paintings have been exhibited at the Hecksher Museum in New York and at the Montclair Museum in New Jersey.
