Rustam Yaushev Uzbekistan printmaker and painter Rustam Yaushev practices the rare classical technique of etching that is arduous, taking months to complete one image, yet results in beautiful, meticulously detailed scenes of life on the Kamchatka Peninsula off the coast of Siberia. Yaushev studied at the Moscow Art Institute and the USSR Academy of Art, and his works belong to the collections of several museums in Russia.

Kay Ray Springtime bouquets are the specialty of watercolor artist Kay Ray. The painter prefers to make her work on location, capturing flora from Rockport, Massachusetts to East Hampton, Long Island. "My paintings are colorful expressions of what I see and feel."
