" After I graduated from art school in 1968, I started a business in printmaking with etchings of flowers. As they became popular I was approached by UNICEF to donate one of the images of the flowers (a rose) to their institution. I was glad to see the success of the greeting card distributed worldwide and to have the opportunity to help the children of the world.

My passion for flowers has continued throughout the years. Through them I feel a need to express sentiments of love, joy and happiness. Contemplating a flower always gives me deep feeling of love for life.

I continued working and developing the images together with landscapes for the next 20 years, 10 years ago I started working in the oil medium on canvas. This medium captivates me for it has more potential in giving the flowers character, volume and richness.

I also have developed a body of work in soft pastels on paper working with the human figure. Through the human body I want to express my love for humanity and the human spirit. "
