"I find expression in the simplest tools and choose the human figure to communicate universally perceived truths. Through my vertilinear strokes, rapidly brushed across the surface of paper or canvas, I attempt to construct the desired imagery. It is for the viewer to glimpse the realization in the defined and sometimes undefined forms. All imagery is drawn or painted as the model moves from pose to pose. Depending upon the pose time, some movements are totally realized…others are more transitory…It is the interplay of form and movement and my reaction to them that inspire my work."
