"As an artist who started to paint later in life, I took courses and studied with various people when it was possible. Since then, I have worked hard, as everyone must in the arts, and have been able to show my work in many art clubs and win awards. A sample of my work can be found in four books. Giving workshops and demos has been a fun and enlightening experience for me. I love the way bits of light can fall on landscapes, giving them a somewhat dramatic feeling, especially on snow--which, incidentally, is my favorite subject.

I believe that we should not copy any subject exactly, but use it only as a guide and follow our creative imaginations to the fullest extent."
