Born in 1942 in Chicago, IL, United States

1976, B.F.A., Chicago Academy of Fine Arts, Chicago, IL

"Since I was introduced to my first set of colored pencils at the age of six, I recognized the joy of making art. I had just returned from a lengthy stay in the hospital, but I never stopped producing images from that day forward.

My art has always been involved with the documentation of Time/Space/Chance. In 30 years my work has gone through certain stylistic changes, but its themes have remained constant, based on moments of personal experience that are imbedded in my subconscious, waiting to be recalled at the time of execution.

The ability to be creative is a wonderful gift and should never be taken for granted."
