Born in 1934 in The Democratic Republic of Congo

"My ability to paint is an inborn gift. It was discovered by Belgian settlers who asked me to paint the first mass of the Bishop Jean de Coert, a cousin of the Belgian King Albert II. Painting is a passion that also allows me to support my family. One of my goals is communicating unity and peace to people worldwide.

"I have been an artist since 1951, and since then, a lot of changes have occured in my country. Owing to this long experience (48 years) as well as these changes, I see myself as an experienced painter. However, I keep working to try to reach perfection."
