"A painting is a super imposition of life elements. Sometimes the world of the living is veiled;
I bring it to light, I see the reality and suggest the possibility of raising it through mishaps and events. A painting is a continuous process of expansion, interactions, and transformations.
Sometimes my paintings are formed by layers where people move, tear themselves to pieces, jubilate, and rebuild themselves. To manifest or to relate this, I value the strength of the form which creates thought by reflection. Color and form support contents."
Gaby Kubler, 1999
"When I paint I listen in to music. Bach, Beethoven, Ligeti, Georges Crumb,
Pascal Dusapin and a lot of others..."
