"This series is an ongoing visual exploration of my fascination with popular culture, back page adds, mundane and kitsch artifacts.

These vernacular sources translate into social commentary from a mental no man’s land where comic horror and laughter are facing immortality.

These canvases are not stretched; they hang on grommet-like small circus backdrops. I often sew objects and adorn the edges to reinforce the idea. My work is related to Outsider’s Art.

Each work is a step on a personal journey. Sometimes it is a big one, sometimes a small one; I do not always walk in a straightforward line. I am self taught."
