"I am a self-taught pen and ink artist who has been working in this medium for over twenty years. Over this period of time, my work has evolved from a very precise, pointillist style, into a somewhat looser or mixed media style.
Experimenting with color, paper textures, and other fun stuff has proven insightful and rewarding. My goal has always been to create a realistic rendering utilizing subtle shading not usually found in traditional pen and ink drawings.
I have done many subjects, including landscapes, still life, aircraft, wildlife, automobiles, and portraits.
What once was just a pleasurable pastime for me, has gradually evolved into an earnest and passionate pursuit to do increasingly better work. I believe my serious commitment to, and love of this wonderful medium is finally emerging in my drawings."
