"Creating symbolic and narrative images always interested me. I am looking for strong images and find them through my relationships and family. The imagery in my present work deals with THE PEAR, THE CONE FLOWER and THE FEMALE FIGURE.

I paint their beauty without controversy, focusing on form and organic qualities. These images never fail to fascinate me. I use these images again in my narrative paintings to relate event that have affected me.

Oil on canvas is the medium I use for most of my work. But gouache on paper also gives me a chance to explore ideas quickly, simply and with wonderful rich colors. "
