"Frank Ramme's large oil paintings are filled with the cultural symbols which have affected the modern thought process, such as icons of religion, numerology, psychology, mathematics, science, and agriculture. The paintings are surrealist maps of images in a dialogue. The process is filled in through automatic painting, and his creations suggest the movements and associations of dreams."
Frank Ramme, February 2000
