Born in Évora, Portugal

1974, Art School of Aarhus, Denmark

Currently lives in the United States

"My artistic journey developed at a very early age, with my convent days growing up in Portugal, my formative years studying art and design in Denmark and the two-year stay in Kenya where I was fortunate to learn African History with Dr. Leaky.

Throughout this time, my sketches, photographs, watercolors and designs would be used as my creative tools and shape me artistically to become what I am today: an artist and designer.

My fine art work has always been an integral part of every aspect of my work, how I feel and what I see. It is my voice.

When I came to the United States I knew that I had come to a place where I could express myself and was free to pursue my artistic dreams. I worked hard and my career formed."
