Dallas Art Institute

"My art is not really about anything but art. Boundaries and position play a role also. The act of painting is important versus the talk of painting.

Reaction to the action from the factions. My art is about everything.

When in doubt paint flowers.

Sometimes when I paint I get into a semi-trance state of creativity and when its all over I don’t really think I did anything. I look at the work and its not real to me. Its real and all but its kind of amazing that it was created by me. Its like, where did this come from?"

Being a painter is kind of like living in a dream
