Born in Szeged, Hungary and currently lives and works in the United States.
"My painting reflects my sense of wonder at all aspects of the world we live in: the sheer poetry of objects, the effects of the quality of air on landscapes, the very shapes and colors that surround us. My work is essentially realist, for I paint what is a version of what I see or remember: I am fascinated by physical reality. However, in the process of painting I respond to the medium I am using at the moment, the mood the subject evokes, the mood I am in, so the realism often veers into ‘impressions’ of the subject or ‘expressions’ of my relation to it. In the end, the work has to speak for itself."
