"My experiences and observations have resulted in an art that expresses a variety of aspects of human nature.

The oil pastel drawings, prints, and collages are statements about both animals and humans shown in their relationships to themselves and their surroundings.

The animal and human images are combined with landscape and houses to express 'place,' an internal 'place' of vulnerability, peacefulness, playfulness, and calm.

The work also explores 'time' as well as 'place': time remembered, fleeting moments, or the slow passage of time."
