Born: 1932, in Bagshot, UK
Grew up first in Alger, Algeria then in Marseille, France and finally in Dieulefit, France
Moved to Paris to study theater and worked as a comedian with Jean Daste (in Saint Etienne) and Planchon (in Villeurbanne)
Became a professional graphic designer and artistic director working for advertising adgencies and as a freelance.
Moved in 1990 to Ardeche in France to dedicate himself to painting
Currently resides in Saint Maurice d'Ibie, France

" Figuration? Abstraction? From one to the other, I paint without any concerns for fashion.
I use a combination of a very precise and severe technique with a controled freedom of material.
Far from the classicism of an oil painting, I use glue and teared up paper to create amazing maps of some
improbable cities, drawings of imaginary archeological excavations or imprecise masques just appearing from the night."
