"My goal as an artist is to approach each new work allowing the creative process to unfold and the spirit of the painting to emerge. My purpose is to communicate a sense of wonder through my work. I’m often surprised at the results.

In my latest series, I layer gold leaf with transparent acrylic glazes creating an iridescence that makes each painting appear to glow from within.

I wish these photos could show how the paintings transform throughout the day as the light reflects and shifts on the gold leaf. The only thing I can compare it to is the way the sky changes color moment by moment at sunset."
