| "My understanding of painting is unique; it is an expression of my feelings, emotions, and my own look at the world of rich colors and perfection.
My favorite colors, Prussian blue and purple, seem to have been flowing instinctively through my blood since birth. In my Lotus flower paintings, I often use these colors.
Lotus is my love flower. In the half Lotus blossom there is an empty space at the center that brings about a sense of void or space to my paintings, indicating boundless space beyond their limits.
This is, to me, the eye of art and the proper expression of ones thoughts. I start painting what I see-an object, a person-but then I still do not know what is to come. It is the canvas that decides, as I am merely a tool that becomes very small."
