"Color and particularly the fluid quality of watercolor go hand in hand for me. Lake Como in Italy is one of my favorite places to visit for its stunning beauty and serenity. I always enjoy the pleasure of reacting spontaneously to these glorious surroundings. When painting landscapes I try always to retain the freshness of my original impression with out losing sight of the grandeur of the environment. When paintings still lifes or florals, spontaneity is equally important combined with the interaction of color, shape and unusual perspective. To me painting is visual communication and I try always to capture my inspiration and paint from the heart. "
